Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon has repeated his threat to resign if the budget is not passed before the Knesset leaves on its Passover break, saying on Tuesday, "The people of Israel will sit down on the Seder night with a budget or without a finance minister."
Addressing a news conference on the occasion of reform of the Standards Institute, Kahlon said "There is a possibility of expanding the session by two or three days. I repeat, there is no connection between the budget and the [military] draft outline, so I intend to resign if the budget is not approved in the current session."
