French President Emmanuel Macron has called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to ensure that Syria complies with a United Nations Security Council resolution on a 30-day humanitarian ceasefire.
According to the announcement by the Elysee Palace, Macron stressed in a telephone conversation with Putin that humanitarian convoys should be able to reach the besieged areas of the country without delay.
