Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's associates are responding to a state's witness agreement signed with former aide Nir Hefetz by saying, "When there is something [to the allegations], there is no need for even one state's witness. When there is not, even a thousand state witnesses will not help."
Repeating a phrase said by Netanyahu since his name started being mentioned in corruption cases, they added, "The endless race after state witnesses is the best proof that there is nothing - and there will be nothing."
