Supreme Court Chief Justice Esther Hayut announced to the presidents of lower courts the establishment of a senior investigative team to examine the systemic aspects of the work interface between the prosecution and pre-indictment judges after Hayut examined the issue of systemic failures in the text messaging case between Judge Ronit Poznanski-Katz and Securities Authority investigator Eran Shaham-Shavit before a detention hearing for figures in the investigation of alleged improprieties at the Bezeq communications company.
The 3-judge team is scheduled to submit its recommendations by April 15.
