Referring to Netanyahu's trip to Washington, DC and his expected meeting with United States President Donald Trump, the former ambassador to the US said, "Every meeting between the prime minister and the president of the United States is an event of national and international importance. They will discuss critical issues for the security of the State of Israel, with an emphasis on relations with Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and the nuclear agreement with Iran. In light of the announcement of the transfer of the embassy on Independence Day, it is essential that the prime minister express his personal appreciation for the actions of President Trump."
