Following a meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu last night, sources in the hareidi-religious United Torah Judaism faction have made it clear that they are under the impression there was a sincere desire on the part of Netanyahu to reach an agreed outline on their draft law.
Faction sources told Arutz Sheva, "The prime minister understands the vital need to enact an alternative recruitment law in order to fulfill the Supreme Court's demand and the sooner the better." They added that apparently the budget will not reach a final vote in the plenum before the draft law is passed. They added, "If the budget goes up for a final vote in the current session, the coalition will have to vote for and support the recruitment bill."
