The prime minister's decision to suspend the decision to impose property taxes on church assets in Jerusalem was reached, among other things, due to heavy international pressure on Israel, Hadashot reported on Tuesday evening.
The Vatican, as well as countries such as Russia and Greece, were among those who exerted the pressure, according to the report.
