(JTA) — The HTIB labor association for Turkish immigrants told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf on Tuesday that it is bowing out of hosting a speech this week by Rasmea Odeh, who spent 10 years in an Israeli prison for her role in a 1969 bombing attack at a Jerusalem supermarket that killed two Hebrew University students. She failed to disclose her arrest and convictions in the bombing in her immigration applications to the United States, from which she was deported last September after pleading guilty to the associated charges.
