A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train on Monday evening near Beit Yehoshua, just south of Netanya.
The police stopped the traffic in both directions and opened an investigation. Israel Railways said that for the time being, trains coming from the north will end their journey in Netanya, and trains from the south will stop at the Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station.
