The official value of the shekel declined an average of .506 percent on Monday against the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.494, up .258 percent from Friday, while the Euro advanced .408 percent to 4.3106 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.9111 shekels, up .809 percent. The Australian dollar was fixed at NIS 2.7475, up .759 percent, while its Canadian counterpart rose .835 percent to 2.7647 shekels.
