The attorneys of suspects in the case involving alleged improprieties at the Bezeq communications company will ask that they be released from detention tonight, in view of the exposure of the correspondence on Whatsapp between the Securities Authority representative and the detention judge.
Attorney Dror Matityahu, representing Or Elovitz, the son of Bezeq's controlling shareholder, said, "The correspondence between the judge and the representative of the investigating authority polluted the legal process and required the immediate release of my client. The event is unprecedented and requires a thorough and in-depth investigation and harsh conclusions."
