This week, a series of brigade exercises were held in the Israel Defense Forces' Northern Command as part of an effort to improve preparedness in the northern arena. Regular forces joined the reserve forces and trained in rapid reserve callup, fire capabilities and readiness to fight in Lebanon.
According to the IDF, the brigade exercises were conducted as part of the amplified training program for 2018, aimed at preparing fighters and commanders for various scenarios in the sector in order to improve the preparedness and assessment of forces at the when the time comes.
