Arab with a knife killed in clash with soldiers

The Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson's Office says a violent disorder broke out in Jericho during a Wednesday-evening arrest operation. One of the rioters, armed with a knife, attacked troops with an iron club and tried to take a weapon. While he was not shot, he was wounded when soldiers fought him off with their weapons and he died of his wounds.
