Retired senior statesman Moshe Arens criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday in light of the latest developments in corruption investigations surrounding Netanyahu and associates.

Referring to a case surrounding expensive gifts Netanyahu received from businessment, Arens told Israeli public radio, "Receiving gifts of this magnitude by a public figure is inappropriate." He also said, "If I were to meet Netanyahu, I would tell him not to criticize law-enforcement people, despite the temptation."
