Today, Israel will mark its Memorial Day for fallen soldiers whose burial place is unknown.
The observance is based on the 7th of Adar on the Hebrew calendar, the anniversary of Moses, whose precise burial place is unknown (Deuteronomy 34:6). At 11 am, the official memorial ceremony will take place at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem with the participation of President Reuven Rivlin.
