Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Netanyahu's recent legal woes means that the premier's long tenure leading the Jewish state was coming to a close.
"I think a chapter has ended and a new chapter has begun," said Barak on the London Et Kirshenbaum television program. "I know Netanyahu closely, in my opinion he understands that this is the end of the story. He will, of course, do every trick, trick, and gimmick to postpone it."
"There is no way back. This chapter in Israel's political history is about to end," added Barak.
