Israel's National Committee for Planning and Construction approved plans for the addition of some 4,400 housing units in the Bedouin city of Rahat and about 1,900 housing units in Or Yehuda.
The program in Or Yehuda also includes 500 housing units, student dormitories and public buildings that will meet the needs of the residents of the neighborhood.
