Minister Naftali Bennett has told the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations Annual Leadership Mission in Jerusalem, “Israel has learned to say to other countries, 'you used to be our friend and we shared intelligence with you, and then you voted against us at the UN.' We finally said ‘no’. Our relationship includes everything.”
Bennett also noted that Israel stood on the frontline in the war on terrorism, and gathered intelligence that was saving lives around the world. Referring to the Islamic State terror movement, he said, “We call our allies and say, here is the information, go thwart an attack that is happening, or about to take place. It is not that we go looking for this intelligence, but we have physical borders with IS.”
