Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has denied that his country has military bases in Syria, according to Yisrael Hayom.
Asked yesterday, during a panel on the Middle East in Moscow, if Iran had military bases in Syria, he replied, "No, we do not have any." Zarif stressed that while there are military advisors on behalf of Iran in Syria, there are no combat forces.
