The Knesset plenum on Monday evening approved in its second and third readings the Second Television and Radio Authority bill, intended to regulate the operation of designated channels as commercial or mini-commercial channels under the supervision of the Second Authority. This includes Channel 20.
36 Knesset members supported the bill, two MKs opposed and one Knesset member abstained. All the reservations to the law were rejected during the second reading.
