Chief military prosecutor Sharon Afek has decided to bring disciplinary action against Brigadier General Mordechai Kahane over allegations of improper possession of military equipment.
Kahane faces charges of inappropriate conduct, unlawful taking of equipment and failure to comply with military orders. He announced, following a military police investigation into the matter, that he was retiring from the Israel Defense Forces.
