The trial of retired major general Menashe Arbiv, former head of Lahav 433 national and corruption unit of the Israel Police, has begun in the Magistrates Court in Rishon Letzion.
Arbiv was indicted for fraud, breach of trust and failure to fulfill an official duty related to his interactions with a bribery suspect.
