The Supreme Court is scheduled to hold a discussion today on the petition filed by the the family Israel Defense Forces Lieutenant Hadar Goldin against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the cabinet.
In the petition, the government is called upon to implement the decisions of the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet of January 2017, which put pressure on Hamas to bring about the return of Goldin's body and that of soldier Oron Shaul, held by Hamas in Gaza since their apparent deaths in 2014's Protective Edge counterterror campaign.
