Erdan urges Attorney General to investigate claims Netanyahu hired PI's to probe police

Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan wrote a letter to Attorney General Avichai MAndeblit requesting that he probe allegations by Police Commissioner Roni Alshiekh that Prime Minister Netanyahu monitored police officers with private investigators. "This is a significant and worrisome statement, which should keep sleep out of the eyes of anyone who is important to the rule of law and the independence of law enforcement," said  Erdan.
