By a margin of 56 to 35, the Knesset has approved the application of Israeli law to academic institutions in Judea and Samaria. The law abolishes the Council for Higher Education that had been set up in Judea and Samaria and brings Israeli academic institutions there under Israel's Council for Higher Education.
