A fake Twitter account in the name of Police Commissioner Roni Alsheikh was opened on Thursday.
The police clarified that "in view of reports in the media and inquiries about a Twitter account supposedly opened under the name of the police commissioner, we want to clarify that this is a bogus account that has nothing to do with the commissioner. Unfortunately, the lion's share of the information we are required to deal with during this period has no basis in reality."
