Russian President Vladimir Putin and Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas plan to discuss a possible new mediation mechanism to replace the Middle East Quartet, Russian media reported on Wednesday.
The two are scheduled meet in the southern Russian city of Sochi on February 12.
