Galila Ron Feder Amit will be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Israeli Center for Educational Innovation, awarded annually to a writer for children and youth.
Dan Futerman, the center's director general and head of the committee that made the selection, said, "There is no child in Israel who has not read at least one of Galila Ron Feder's books, and many readers read about the history of the Jewish people and our country through the books of Ron Feder Amit as well as on science, space and many other subjects."
