It has been disclosed that the Jew who was murdered in the attack in the Samarian city of Ariel was Rabbi Itamar Ben Gal of the Samarian community of Har Bracha.
A statement by the community said, "The house of Har Bracha and the yeshiva are stunned, mourning and in pain over the murder of our beloved friend Rabbi Itamar Ben Gal, a dedicated educator and father of four children."
