Following a visit to the Magen David Adom emergency medical service's main headquarters in the Tel Aviv suburb of Kiryat Ono and a comprehensive survey of the organization and its significant activities, Folkman said, "I remember the wonderful members of MDA from the time I was a medic in the Nahal Brigade, but I was amazed to discover how innovative MDA measures are and how tremendous efforts are being made to place MDA at the forefront of technology." said MK Folkman. He noted, "At the same time, gaps were presented in the areas of preparedness for emergencies in extreme situations, such as earthquakes or war. As in the national fire extinguishing system, the State of Israel must work together with MDA to upgrade the emergency system to extreme situations."
