The mother of murder victim Michal Halimi has reacted to the plea bargain of 29-year-old Arab Muhammad Harouf in the case by saying, "Today proved that everything we said from the start was true."
She was referring to the fact that, according to the arrangement, the facts of the indictment will be changed and the motive will become nationalistic and not romantic Thus the version of the defendant who committed the murder on the basis of the victim being a Jew is being accepted.
