Member of Knesset Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) confirmed this morning that she gave testimony in the investigation into allegations of improprieties in Israel's purchase of submarines from a German company.

Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, the former acting prime minister said, "I was indeed called upon to give testimony in the submarine investigation, of course not for my actions, but for others. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised, because it made it clear to me that the investigators are examining the length and breadth of a great deal of information."
