Minister of Regional Cooperation Tzachi Hanegbi said Wednesday at a conference in Brussels regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza that the residents of the Gaza Strip "are paying the price of Hamas' extremism." He emphasized the organization's refusal, contrary to international law, to return to Israel the bodies of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul and the two civilians held by Hamas, Ibrahim Mengistu, and Hisham a-Sayyed. The conference was attended by US Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.
