The Ministry of Health received a statement yesterday about a positive result in testing for rabies in a jackal found dead near the fish ponds of Kibbutz Nir David in the Emek Hamaayanot area of the Beit She'an Valley.
The Ministry of Health requests that anyone who may have been in contact with the infected animal or a stray in the area or who has animals that have come into contact to urgently contact the health office closest to his residence.
