An indictment for fraud and breach of trust was filed Thursday against Bella Goldenberg, an employee of the Israel Anti-Drug and Alcohol Authority, who coordinated the activities of the authority in the Russian-speaking sector.

According to the indictment, Goldenberg committed fraud and breach of trust when she promoted or prevented the dismissal of activists of the Yisrael Beiteinu party who were employed in the positions of drug and alcohol war coordinators in the former Soviet Union. The indictment was filed in the framework of Section 242 (the "Yisrael Beytenu affair"), in which indictments were filed against senior public officials for taking bribes and money laundering, and various individuals accused of bribery offenses were prosecuted.
