Deputy Director Uri Mendes of the Defense Ministry's Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria has told the Knesset Foreign Affairs Committee's Subcommittee on Judea and Samaria that the Civil Administration won't be able to meet its objectives under a 30-percent budget cut planned by the Finance Ministry.
Subcommittee chairman MK Moti Yogev said the panel would do what it could but in the end it is a matter between the defense minister and the finance minister and the prime minister. He said the funding was a complex matter and despite claims the administration should be closed down, it needed the tools and resources to do its job.
