The leaders of 21 humanitarian organizations have sent a letter to United States President Donald Trump, expressing "strong opposition" to the administration's decision to freeze more than half of the aid money to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.
In the letter, the organizations called the cuts "dangerous" and expressed concern that it would disrupt the access of Palestinian Authority residents and families of Arabs that left Israel when the modern Jewish state was founded to food, health and education services, and other services essential to weak populations.
