The Senate on Tuesday confirmed Jerome Powell as the next chairman of the Federal Reserve, voting 85 to 12 to give President Donald Trump's nominee a four-year term.
Powell will replace current Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen, whose term ends in February.
