The Jerusalem Prosecution submitted to the local district court an indictment against a Bet Shemesh resident, Meir Weissfish, who threw a bag of garbage at a car driven by a soldier in the haredi area of Bet Shemesh. The soldier was stunned, lost control of the car and hit a lamppost.
The soldier called police and waited in his car while haredim circled his car, banged on the car and shouted at him.
The prosecution wants to extend Weissfish's remand until the end of proceedings.
