The Beitar Jerusalem soccer team announced on Monday night that it would shut down the eastern balcony at Teddy Stadium after fans shouted racist calls towards players of the Bnei Sakhnin soccer team during a Monday evening’s game.

Team officials said that "the club is disgusted with the behavior of the fans and hence the club will fight those fans who hurt the club in light of the behavior of some fans at the game against Bnei Sakhnin."

According to the team announcement, the eastern balcony will be shut down until further notice and that ticket sales as well as fan entry into the area will be prohibited.
