The official value of the shekel declined an average of .297 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchance list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.421, up .44 percent from Friday, while the Euro rose .251 percent to 4.1901 shekels and the pound sterling was fixed at 4.7544 shekels, up .196 percent.
