Rabbi Eliahu Ovadia, the younger brother of former Shas spiritual leader Ovadia Yosef, passed away on Sunday at the age of 90. His funeral will take place tomorrow at 3:00 pm in Kfar Warburg where he lived.
A member of the Etzel (Irgun) pre-state militia, Rabbi Eliahu maintained a warm relationship with his older brother and used to visit his home in Jerusalem's Har Nof neighborhood from time to time. Even when Rabbi Ovadia Yosef was hospitalized, his brother made sure to visit him.
