A male soldier and a female soldier serving in the mixed-gender Lavi combat unit in the Jordan Valley have been sentenced to 20 days behind bars after they were caught embracing in the male soldier's room in a building which is off limits to female soldiers.
The act is a clear violation of the Joint Service Ordinance. The Lavi Brigade is the second mixed battalion in the Israel Defense Forces.
