Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman took part Sunday in an aerial exercise with the characteristics of an incursion deep into enemy territory that included aerial refueling in southern Israel. The defense minister also met with fighter pilots from an F-15 squadron who took part in various operational activities in recent months.
Summing up the visit, Liberman said, "I observed unique operational capabilities and strength that only a few armies in the world have. But more importantly, I met the Israeli melting pot at its best. Men and women, immigrants and veteran citizens, haredi-religious, religious and secular. They're all committed to the mission of winning every campaign."
