Efrat mayor Oded Ravivi responded to the publishing of growth figures in Judea and Samaria in 2017.
Ravvi wrote that "the Efrat local council is proud to be the leader in growth in Judea and Samaria. The growth teaches that one of the main solutions to the housing crisis is to create a periphery to large cities, just as Efrat is to Jerusalem.
Ravivi revealed that 8200 units are in the planning process and will be built in Efrat in the future. He added that "it is clear to everyone today that Judea and Samaria needs to be and can be a central part of the solution to the housing crisis and it would be good for the government to act accordingly."
