Egged drivers countrywide will strike Monday between 10 AM and 12 AM and the company's activity will stop in protest against the violence being exhibited against drivers.
The director of the Transport Workers Union, Avi Edri, said that " we decided to demonstrate to all those who wish to harm drivers that we will not allow violence to raise its head. Public transport drivers serve the public faithfully and diligently and it is unthinkable that they become punching bags for violent passengers."
