Zionist Union leader Avi Gabbay addressed the end of the crisis in relations with Jordan on Friday morning.

In a meeting with members of the commercial club in Tel Aviv, Gabbay said, "It is of paramount importance to preserve the political and security relations with the Jordanian kingdom. Netanyahu's apology was appropriate, but it is a pity he waited six months to do so. And, in general, it is too bad we are in an era when we have an irresponsible prime minister who is preoccupied with taking pictures, and these photographs have a heavy political price."

"The photo with the security guard was an unnecessary photo that the prime minister also made sure to post on Twitter in Arabic, and by doing so he angered the Jordanians and the king. It is forbidden to do such things. We do not need a prime minister who ignites fires and then sends the head of the Mossad to extinguish them," Gabbay added.
