Singer Amir Benayoun has refused a second opportunity to ask the US embassy to allow him to fly to New York to sing at the International Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony.
The embassy initially refused him a visa and Benayoun said that he wished to demonstrate 'minimal Jewish pride' and not request a second time a visa, after he was required to state that he intends to travel and return immediately.
