Special counsel Robert Mueller, who is probing suspected Russian involvement in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, subpoenaed former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon last week, The New York Times reported Tuesday.
According to the report, Mueller had issued the subpoena for Bannon to testify before a grand jury.
