Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat announced today the opening of two new schools in the city. For the first time in years, after the closure of the Pardes School, the municipality will open a new state religious school on Bar Kokhba Street in the French Hill neighborhood. In the initial stage, the school will consist of two classes.

In addition, a pluralistic non-religious state junior high school on the model of innovation will grow out of the Ramot Alon Elementary School, starting with one or two classes.
